I tried this on my home table and it was consistently off by 1 diamond. Being Plus 2 instead of Plus 3. I think it was because I have a “bar table” that is 40″ by 80″ instead of the “standard table” that is 50″ by 100″. Is that true ?? If so it would be nice if in the future you could make some comment about lessons that work differently on different size tables. Be even nicer if you could give 2 versions of a lesson like this, one for the standard table and one for the bar table.

Every table will ” …
Every table will “play” differently. The key is to find the necessary first-rail aim point for the reference shot, and to determine which diamond off the third rail goes to the pocket. Everything else is defined relative to that.

The formula for predicting the third rail diamond should work pretty well on most tables. Have you tested this out? Check out the video again and figure out the reference diamonds for your table. Also, try the formula.
